Supervision for Counsellors

Supervision for Counsellors

Supervision is a reliable space to bring your caseload, your uncertainties and what stays with you after sessions. It suits you whether you are newly qualified or many years into practice. We look at the work, the dynamics and ethical questions in it, and how you are yourself.

The Cyclical Model

Each session moves from what you bring, through focused exploration, to practical next steps for your work with clients.

Training and Registration

Kingsley completed the Cruse Bereavement Support Supervision Course, quality checked by the National Counselling Society, in 2024. He supervises from his own current practice as an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor.

He is listed as a supervisor on the register of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), where he is an Accredited Registrant, MNCPS (Acc.). He is also a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), MBACP. You can check both entries on the NCPS register and in the BACP directory.

Dedicated Support

You work with Kingsley throughout, at a rhythm you agree, so patterns across your caseload can be followed over time.

Free monthly group supervision by video

The group is for qualified therapists and counsellors in private practice who want to think alongside colleagues, and it meets by video on the last Saturday of each month from 19:00 to 20:00, UK time, alongside, rather than instead of, each member's own one to one supervision. To join, complete the short application form, which asks for your professional body, your registration and your qualification; if you would like to ask anything first, email support@markingtherapy.com. Kingsley reads every application, checks it against the professional body's public register and lets you know by email whether it has been approved, and members then receive the joining details and every group email through the group's own mailing list.
