Online Counselling / Therapy
Online therapy works. For anxiety, low mood, grief, relationship difficulties and the after-effects of trauma, research suggests that therapy by secure video or telephone can work well for many people and many common concerns, and many find it easier to commit to.
Sessions are one to one with Kingsley, 45 minutes long, from wherever you are. There is no travel, no waiting room, and no need to explain yourself to a receptionist. All you need is a private space and a reasonable connection. Your joining link appears in your client area and in your confirmation email.
Fees: the Initial Consultation is 45 minutes at £75. Online sessions are 45 minutes at £80, by live video or by phone, and online couples counselling is £100 for a full hour. See all fees.
What to expect
Online sessions are 45 minutes and run just like meeting in the room, over a secure video link or by telephone. You settle somewhere private and comfortable, and all you need is a phone, tablet or computer with a reasonably steady connection.
How we work
The approach online is the same integrative one we use in person, drawing together person-centred, CBT-informed, solution-focused and mindfulness-based ideas and shaping them around you. Working this way changes the setting, not the care.
Fees
The initial consultation is £75. Ongoing online sessions are £80 by secure video or telephone. Full fees for every service are on the fees page.
